Custom Murals
What are walls for if not a mural?! Murals have the power to make a huge impact on the spaces we choose to spend our time. Our environments significantly affect our productivity, mood and overall wellbeing. They can inspire, calm and energize us. They can give us solitude and respite, or give us a place to come together. There are many ways to fill our spaces.

Skatepark Mural
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Overall Dimensions: 18,000 sq. ft.
Medium: Latex Paint- Exterior Flat
Commissioned by Grand Junction Parks & Recreation to bring new life to a popular skatepark near the historic downtown of Grand Junction.
The flowing contours of the skatepark inspired the canyon lands concept of the neighboring desert scape. The engineered flow of the park lent itself perfectly to the natural flow of a desert canyon. The flat area provided the canvas for windswept dunes. A box feature in the middle needed to be highlighted, not camouflaged. I painted the large cow skull utilizing the existing form and lines to highlight the structure of the skull.
Opposite of the dunes, I wanted to temper the warm colors with the cooling respite of a whirlpool. The torrent and spray mimics the movement of the built features. I selected the saturated turquoise to make the warm canyon colors pop. The overall design is meant to contrast and yet flow easily throughout. Graffiti at this park is inevitable, therefore I designed a concept that would not be destroyed by graffiti, but would lend itself well to hopefully, tastefully done art.
ColoradoOutdoors Mural
Location: Snowmass Village, CO
Overall Dimensions: 8’H x 60’L
Medium: Exterior Acrylic Paint with UV Sealer + Protector
Commissioned by Go Snowmass Tourism + Timbermill Building Co., this mural encapsulates the spirit of Snowmass Village. The clients asked for a design that would weave together highlights of the four seasons, and showcase the most popular local activities, giving a glimpse into what it means to be a part of this extraordinary place and community.
The blue backdrop and snow covered mountains meet the iconic Colorado “C” to form the state’s flag. Flanking this are elements of the local flora, and exciting outdoor activities. The mural starts with a reminder to “stay wild”, creating a backdrop for social media moments. The design then meanders through the winter scape featuring snow capped pines and the local winter “wildlife”. Traversing across the iconic “C” and a snowy Snowmass Ski Resort, the viewer is ushered into spring with bright indigenous flowers. Around the corner we are welcomed into warmer weather by the resplendent blooms of summer and the impressive silhouette of Mount Daly. The golden hues of fall and exhilaration of mountain biking bookend our journey as we await the excitement of a new year.
Koi + Flower Mural
Location: Basalt, CO
Dimensions: 10’W x 8’H
Medium: Exterior Acrylic Paint with UV Sealer + Protector
This piece was commissioned by a woman in Basalt. She had just finished creating her ideal outdoor space; complete with vibrant gardens, a tranquil waterfall and supremely welcoming seating areas. It was almost perfect, but just needed that last little something to bring it all to life.
A custom mural, perfectly tailored to the space and desired atmosphere answered that need. The colors were carefully blended to complement the surrounding gardens, furniture and overall aesthetic. Inspired by the homeowner and her intended “feel” for the space, the elements were designed for vibrancy and tranquility.
Bunch Flower Truck
Location: Carbondale, CO
Dimensions: 14’L x 30”H overall
Medium: Exterior Acrylic Paint with UV Sealer + Protector
The owner of Bunch Flower Truck, a mobile flower bar, knew that she needed something eye-catching to capture the attention of fellow HWY 82 travelers as she ventured up and down the Roaring Fork Valley bringing her gorgeous, fresh-cut flowers to farmers’ markets, local events and private parties.
This mural needed to be bright, bold and instantly recognizable at high speeds (and sooo many traffic lights!). It was important that the identity of the business was clear right away, but also intrigued people to come and take a closer look. People are delighted when she rolls up in her joyful truck brimming with fresh blooms.
